From poster design and photography to advertising and websites—white space is always the secret weapon. Here are the most common traps rookie designers fall into: 👇 ❌ “If it’s empty, patch it up.” ❌ “Make the text bigger. No, BIGGER.” ❌ “It looks too simple, let’s add more elements.” The final result? 😵 A cluttered artboard. 😵‍💫 Zero visual hierarchy. 😵 The audience has absolutely no idea where to look. Let's clear this up: White space is NOT a lack of content. 🙅 It is the deliberate choice to leave space raw and untouched, ✨ guiding the audience to understand: 👀 What matters most. 🎯 Where the focal point is. 🧠 What their eyes should look at first. Sometimes, the most captivating part of a design 🤍 isn't what you put into the frame. It’s the space you intentionally decide to leave out.
